周书卷二十六 列传第十八：
澄字士亮。年十岁，司徒李琰之见而奇之，遂以女妻焉。十四，从征讨，有策谋，勇冠诸将。及长，容貌魁岸，风仪温雅。魏孝武初，除征东将军、渭州刺史。
魏文帝尝与太祖及群公宴，从容言曰："《孝经》一卷，人行之本，诸公宜各引要言。"澄应声曰："夙夜匪懈，以事一人。"座中有人次曰："匡救其恶。"既而出阁，太祖深叹澄之合机，而谴其次答者。后从太祖援玉壁，又从战邙山，进位骠骑大将军、开府。孝闵践阼，拜大将军，封义门公，为玉壁总管。卒。自丧初至及葬，世宗三临之。典祀中大夫宇文容谏曰："君临臣丧，自有节制。今乘舆屡降，恐乖礼典。"世宗不从。
澄操履清约，家无余财。太祖尝谓曰："我于公间，志无所惜，公有所须，宜即具道。"澄曰："澄自顶至足，皆是明公恩造。即如今者，实无所须。"雅对宾客，接引忘疲。虽不饮酒，而好观人酣兴。常恐座客请归，每敕中厨别进异馔，留之止。
