绍字仲先，临川人。登至正八年进士第，以求援出靖安，而道阻绝，遇官军，护绍得入龙兴。而龙兴亦被围，其后围解，绍乃与民安图招谕叛境，过建昌之高坪，遇贼，绍与战不胜，正衣冠怒骂，为贼所害。
