马嘉运，魏州繁水人。
旧唐书卷七十三 列传第二十三：
马嘉运者，魏州繁水人也。少出家为沙门，明于《三论》。后更还俗，专精儒业，尤善论难。贞观初，累除越王东阁祭酒。顷之，罢归，隐居白鹿山。十一年，召拜太学博士，兼弘文馆学士，预修《文思博要》。嘉运以颖达所撰《正义》颇多繁杂，每掎摭之，诸儒亦称为允当。高宗居春宫，引为崇贤馆学士。数与洗马秦暐侍讲殿中，甚蒙礼异。十九年，迁国子博士卒。
