顾皋，江苏无锡人。
清史稿卷三百七十六 列传一百六十三：
顾皋，字歅齐，江苏无锡人。嘉庆六年一甲一名进士，授修撰。九年，督贵州学政，釐剔弊窦，奏改黎平、开泰学额，士林颂之。超擢国子监司业。二十一年，直懋勤殿，编辑秘殿珠林、石渠宝笈。历翰林院侍读、左右庶子、侍讲学士、侍读学士。典陕甘乡试。二十四年，入直上书房，甚被仁宗眷注。二十五年，扈跸热河。上升遐之日，御笔擢皋詹事。次日，宣宗即位，执皋手大恸。道光元年，迁内阁学士，擢工部侍郎，兼管钱法堂。二年，调户部。连典顺天、浙江乡试，管理国子监事务。
皋在户部，不为激亢之行，考覈利病，慎稽出纳，不可干以私。尝曰：“学期见诸实用。吾久回翔於文学侍从。及任经世理物之责，未能壹志专虑，以求称职，为自愧耳。”八年，以病乞归。十一年，卒。
