顾忻，泰州泰兴人。
宋史卷四百五十六 列传第二百一十五：
顾忻，泰州泰兴人。十岁丧父，以母病，荤辛不入口者十载。鸡初鸣，具冠带率妻子诣母之室，问其所欲，如此五十年，未尝离母左右。母老，目不能睹物，忻日夜号泣祈天，刺血写佛经数卷。母目忽明，烛下能缝衽，九十余无疾而终。
又有杭州仁和人李琼，以鬻缯为业，事母孝，夜常十余起省母。母喜食时新，琼百方求市，得必十倍酬其直。
