晋书卷八十九 列传第五十九：
韩阶，长沙人也。性廉谨笃慎，为闾里所敬爱。刺史、谯王承辟为议曹祭酒，转西曹书佐。及承为魏乂所执，送武昌，阶与武延等同心随从，在承左右。桓雄被害之后，二人执志愈固。及承遇祸，阶、延亲营殡敛，送柩还都，朝夕哭奠，俱葬毕乃还。
