韦震，雍州万年人。
新五代史卷四十三 杂传第三十一：
韦震，字东卿，雍州万年人也。初名肇。为人强敏，有口辩。事梁太祖为都统判官。申丛执秦宗权，欲送于太祖，又欲自献于京师，又欲挟宗权夺其兵。太祖遣震入蔡州视之，丛遣骑兵三百迎震，欲杀之，震以计得免。还白太祖曰：“丛不足虑，为其谋者牙将裴涉，妄庸人也。”丛后果为郭璠所杀。璠以宗权归于太祖，太祖欲大其事，请献俘于唐，唐以时溥破黄巢，献馘而已，宗权不足俘，左拾遗徐彦枢亦疏请所在斩决。太祖遣震奏事京师，往复论列，卒俘宗权。太祖德之，表为节度副使。昭宗幸石门，太祖遣震由虢略间道奉表行在，昭宗赐其名震。太祖已破兖、郓，遂攻吴，大败于清口。太祖惧诸镇乘间图己，乃讽杜洪、钟传、王师范、钱镠等荐己为元帅，且求兼领郓州。昭宗初不许，震强辩，敢大言，语数不逊，昭宗卒许梁以郓州，太祖遂兼四镇，表震郓州留后。昭宗迁洛，震入为河南尹、六军诸卫副使，以病喑，守太子太保致仕。太祖受禅，改太子太傅。末帝即位，加太师，卒。
