清史稿卷三百十六 列传一百三：
阎相师，字渭阳，陕西高台人。入伍。累迁安西前营游击。雅尔哈善谋诛厄鲁特降人沙克都尔曼吉。天大雪，相师将五百人，伪为失道，求寄宿其垒。夜分，鸣笳骤起，杀沙克都尔曼吉，歼其部众四千馀人。寻偕副将丑达将千人赴鲁克察克同额敏和卓逐回酋莽阿里克。录功，迁金塔寺营副将。屯田吐鲁番。擢甘肃肃州镇总兵，赐花翎。从雅尔哈善讨霍集占，授领队大臣。围库车，力战被创。师克阿克苏，以相师驻守。已，复随剿霍集占於叶尔羌。授安西提督，驻喀什噶尔。未几，改甘肃提督，移驻库车。上命屯田乌鲁木齐。凯旋，入觐，赉银币，图形紫光阁。引疾罢，予食全俸。旋卒，赠太子太保，谥桓肃。
相师躯幹修伟，有至性。既贵，念亲不逮养，每食泣下。得俸与兄弟，不问出入。所居镇夷堡地万亩，为濬渠灌溉，数百家利赖之。
