清史稿卷四百九十七 列传二百八十四：
阎天伦，甘肃陇西人。贫，父居僧寺，天伦与妻杨，鸡鸣起磨面，及明入市，求父所嗜往馈，午若晡皆然，夜则从父寝。父失明，天伦为茹素，年馀，目复明。天伦先父卒，杨卖浆为养，如天伦在时。翁卒，力营葬，忌日必祭，终其身。
