钱顗，常州无锡人。
宋史卷三百二十一 列传第八十：
钱顗，字安道，常州无锡人。初为宁海军节度推官，守孙沔用威严为治，属吏奔走听命。顗当官而行，无所容挠，遇不可，必争之，由是独见器重。知赣、乌程二县，皆以治行闻。
治平末，以金部员外郎为殿中侍御史里行。许遵议谋杀案问刑名，未定而入判大理，顗以为："一人偏词，不可以汨天下之法，遵所见迂执，不可以当刑法之任。"不从。二年而贬，将出台，于众中责同列孙昌龄曰："平日士大夫未尝知君名，徒以昔官金陵，媚事王安石，宛转荐君，得为御史。亦当少思执国，奈何专欲附会以求美官？
顗今当远窜，君自谓得策邪？我视君犬彘之不如也。"即拂衣上马去。
后自衢徙秀州。家贫母老，至丐贷亲旧以给朝晡，而怡然无谪官之色。苏轼遗以诗，有"乌府先生铁作肝"之句，世因目为"铁肝御史"。卒，年五十三。
