清史稿卷四百八十六 列传二百七十三：
从弟泰吉，字警石。少孤，执丧尽哀礼。与仪吉以学行相磨，远近盛称“嘉兴二石”。为诗文原本情性，读其辞，知其於孝友最深也。以廪贡生得海宁州学训导。居间务读书，自经史百氏下逮唐、宋以来诗文集，靡不博校。以其学语诸生，诸生之贤且文者大附。尝修学宫，以费所羡修海昌备志。既又得民间节孝行者千馀事为旌之，曰：“吾职也。”再三请，必得乃已。为训导几三十年，不以枝官自放旷。粤寇陷浙，往依曾国藩，卒於安庆。著曝书杂志、甘泉乡人稿。仪吉子宝惠，泰吉子炳森，皆能世其学。
