旧唐书卷一百二十 列传第七十：
子昕，肃宗末为四镇留后。自关、陇陷蕃，为虏所隔，其四镇、北庭使额，李嗣业、荔非元礼皆遥领之。昕阻隔十五年，建中二年，与伊西北庭节度使李元忠俱遣使于朝，德宗嘉之。诏曰："四镇、二庭，统任西夏五十七蕃十姓部落，国朝以来，相次率职。自关、陇失守，东西阻绝，忠义之徒，泣血相守，慎固封略，奉尊朝法，皆候伯守将交修共理之所致也。伊西北庭节度使李元忠，可北庭大都护；四镇节度留后郭昕，可安西大都护、四镇节度使。其将吏已下叙官，可超七资。"
李元忠，本姓曹，名令忠，以功赐姓名。时昕使自回纥历诸蕃部，方达于朝。又有袁光庭者，为伊州刺史，陇右诸郡皆陷，光庭坚守伊州，吐蕃攻之累年，兵尽食竭，光庭先刃其妻子，自焚而死。因昕使知之，赠工部尚书。
