处诲，字延美，于昆仲间文章拔秀，早为士友所推。太和八年登进士第。释褐秘府，转监察、拾遗、尚书郎、给事中。累迁工部、刑部侍郎，出为越州刺史、浙东观察使、检校刑部尚书、汴州刺史、宣武军节度观察等使，卒于汴。处诲族父朗。初朗为定州节度使时，处诲为工部侍郎，因早朝假寐于待漏院，忽梦己为浙东观察使，经过汴州，而朗为汴帅，留连饮饯，仰视屋栋，饰以黄土，宾从皆所识。明年，朗果自定州镇宣武，辟韦重掌书记。重将行，处诲告以所梦。明年，处诲转刑部侍郎。其年秋，授浙东观察使。行及潼关，朗遣从事迎劳，仍致手书，令先疏所梦。比至汴，宴于清暑亭，宾佐悉符梦中。朗仰视屋栋曰："此亦黄土也。"四座感叹移时。后五年，朗卒，处诲继为汴州节度使，乃赋诗一章，刻于厅事，以尽思朗之悲。处诲方雅好古，且勤于著述，撰集至多。为校书郎时，撰次《明皇杂录》三篇，行于世。
