清史稿卷四百八十 列传二百六十七：
邵曾可，字子唯。与韩当同时。性孝友恺悌。少爱书画，一日读孟子“伯夷圣之清者也”句，忽有悟，悉弃去，壹志於学。姚江书院初立时，人颇迂笑之。曾可厉色曰：“不如是，便虚度此生。”遂往学。其初以主敬为宗，自师孝咸之后，专守良知。尝曰：“於今乃知知之不可以已。日月有明，容光必照。不尔，日用跬步，鲜不贸贸者矣。”孝咸病，晨走十馀里叩床下问疾，不食而返。如是月馀，亦病。同侪共推为笃行之士焉。卒，年五十有一。曾可子贞显，贞显子廷采，世其学。
