清史稿卷四百七十七 列传二百六十四：
邵希曾，字鲁斋，浙江钱塘人。乾隆五十四年举人，嘉庆中，官河南知县。历权通许、卢氏、鄢陵、西华、沈丘、太康、扶构、淮宁、新乡，皆有声。滑县教匪之役，司粮台。及匪平，讯鞫俘虏，治馀匪，凡良民被胁者皆得释，保全甚众。晚授桐柏，民苦盗，令村集建棚巡更，乡数家出一人为门夫，有警环集，无事归业。访捕强暴者绳以法，积匪率远徙。慎於折狱，皆速结，讼日以稀。朔望莅学，集诸生讲论，增书院膏火，亲课之如师。道光六年，邑人王四杰始登进士第，自明初以来所未有。募钱万缗，建义学。凡经塾三，蒙塾十五。择其秀者入书院肄业，文教兴而悍俗渐化。在任十年，民安之。老病，大吏不令去，卒於官。
