邓考甫，临川人。
宋史卷四百五十八 列传第二百一十七：
邓考甫，字成之，临川人。第进士，历陈留尉、万载永明令、知上饶县，积官奉议郎，提点开封府界河渠，坐事去官，遂闭户著书，不复言仕。
元符末，诏求直言。考甫年八十一，上书云："乱天下者，新法也，末流之祸，将不可胜言。今宜以时更化，纯法祖宗。"因论熙宁而下，权臣迭起，欺世误国，历指其事而枚数其人。蔡京嫉之，谓为诋讪宗庙，削籍羁筠州。崇宁去党碑，释逐臣，同类者五十三人，其五十人得归，惟考甫与范柔中、封觉民独否，遂卒于筠。且死，命幼孙名世执笔，口占百余言，其略曰："予自谓山中宰相，虚有其才也；自谓文昌先生，虚有其词也。不得大用于盛世，亦无憾焉，盖有天命尔。"所论述有《卜世大宝龟》、《伊周素蕴》、《义命杂著》、《太平策要》等，凡二百五十余篇。
