赵怀玉，字亿孙，武进人，尚书申乔四世孙。乾隆中召试举人，授中书。久之，出为青州府同知，以忧归，终於家。性坦易，工古文辞。尝自言不敢好名为欺人之事，不敢好奇为欺世之学。惲敬称其文无有杂言诐义离真反正者。著有生斋文集。
