赵延义，秦州人。
新五代史卷五十七 杂传第四十五：
赵延义，字子英，秦州人也。曾祖省躬通数术，避乱于蜀。父温珪，事蜀王建为司天监，每为建占吉凶，小不中，辄加诘责。温珪临卒，戒其子孙曰：“数术，吾世业，然吾仕乱国，得罪而几死者数矣！子孙能以佗道仕进者，不必为也。”然延义少亦以此仕蜀为司天监。蜀亡，仕唐为星官。延义兼通三式，颇善相人。契丹灭晋，延义随虏至镇州。李筠、白再荣谋逐麻答归汉，犹豫未决，延义假述数术赞成之。周太祖自魏以兵入京师，太祖召延义问：“汉祚短促者，天数邪？”延义言：“王者抚天下，当以仁恩德泽，而汉法深酷，刑罚枉滥，天下称冤，此其所以亡也！”是时，太祖方以兵围苏逢吉、刘铢第，欲诛其族，闻延义言悚然，因贷其族，二家获全。延义事周为太府卿、判司天监，以疾卒。
