新五代史卷三十五 唐六臣传第二十三：
赵光逢，字延吉，父隐，唐左仆射。光逢在唐以文行知名，时人称其方直温润，谓之“玉界尺。”昭宗时为翰林学士承旨、御史中丞，以世乱弃官，居洛阳，杜门绝人事者五六年。柳璨为相，与光逢有旧恩，起光逢为吏部侍郎、太常卿。唐亡，事梁为中书侍郎、同中书门下平章事，累迁左仆射，以太子太保致仕。末帝即位，起为司空、同中书门下平章事，复以司徒致仕。唐天成中，即其家拜太保，封齐国公，卒，赠太傅。
