北史卷四十九 列传第三十七：
智字显智，少有胆决，以军功累迁金紫光禄大夫，封义阳县伯。及尔朱仲远为徐州刺史，智隶仲远赴彭城。尔朱荣死，仲远举兵向洛，智不从之。庄帝闻而善之。普泰初，还洛。仲远忿其乖背，议欲杀之。智兄显度先为世隆所厚，世隆为解喻得全。后进爵为公。随度律等败于韩陵。智与显度、斛斯椿谋诛尔朱氏，显度据守北中城，令智等入京，禽世隆兄弟。
孝武帝初，除开府仪同三司、沧州刺史。在州贪纵，甚为人害。孝武徵还京师，加侍中，除济州刺史，率众达东郡，仍停不进。于长寿津为相州刺史窦泰所破。天平初，赴晋阳。智去就多端，后坐事死。
