谭敬昭，阳春人。
清史稿卷四百八十六 列传二百七十三：
敬昭，字子晋，阳春人。顺德黎简者，以诗名海内，敬昭赋鹏鹤篇投之，简叹为异才。嘉庆二十二年进士，官户部主事。著听云楼集。
同时广东以学行名者，又有高要彭泰来，字子大。生二十月，能即事诵古经，语无不切。嘉庆十八年拔贡生。绝意进取，学使李棠阶高其品，屏驺从徒步就见，询以挽回风俗之道。泰来为书数千言复之，棠阶表其庐，下教高要令，岁时存问。自惠士奇礼下胡方后，此为再见焉。著端州金石略、昨梦斋、诗义堂各集。
