清史稿卷四百二十一 列传二百八：
子彭寿，字仁山。道光二十七年进士，选庶吉士，授编修，累迁少詹事。咸丰十一年，文宗崩，命议郊配礼，彭寿偕大理寺少卿潘祖荫奏言：“臣读大行皇帝圣制甲寅孟夏斋宫即事诗，末句‘以后无须再变更’，注云：‘天坛配享，三祖、五宗为定，永不增配位。恐后代无知故违，则仪文太繁。’臣等仰瞻圣藻，躬悬斋宫，言法行则，非博谦让虚名。弓剑未寒，不忍顿生异议。”礼遂定。
时肃顺等获罪，彭寿请察治党援，旨令指实。奏言侍郎成琦，太仆寺卿德克津泰，候补京堂富绩，侍郎刘昆、黄宗汉。得旨：“纠弹诸事，朕早有闻，特惩一儆百，力挽颓靡。此后不咨既往，诸臣亦毋以党援陈奏，致启讦陷。”于是陈孚恩等谴黜有差。彭寿又以载垣等随事刻深，户部五宇官钱案请再清釐，从之。同治初，再迁内阁学士，署礼部左侍郎。五年，卒。
