许叔牙，润州句容人。少精于《毛诗》、《礼记》，尤善讽咏。贞观初，累授晋王文学兼侍读，寻迁太常博士。升春宫，加朝散大夫，迁太子洗马，兼崇贤馆学士，仍兼侍读。尝撰《毛诗纂义》十卷，以进皇太子。太子赐帛百段，兼令写本付司经局。御史大夫高智周尝谓人曰："凡欲言《诗》者，必须先读此书。"贞观二十三年卒。子子儒。
