胡规，兖州人。
旧五代史卷十九（梁书） 列传九：
胡规，兖州人。初事朱瑾为中军都校。兖州平，署为宣武军都虞候。佐葛从周伐镇、定，从张存敬收晋、绛，皆有功，署为河中都虞候，榷盐务。天复中，太祖迎驾至岐下，以规权知洽州。昭宗还长安，诏授皇城使。及东迁，以为御营使。驾至洛，授内园庄宅使。天祐三年，佐李周彝讨相州，独当州之一面，颇以功闻，军还，权知耀州事。明年，讨沧州，为诸军壕寨使。太祖受禅，除右羽林统军，寻佐刘鄩统兵收潼关，擒刘知浣献之，乃以为右龙虎统军兼侍卫指挥使。乾化元年，诏修洛河堤堰，军士因之斩伐百姓园林太甚，河南尹张宗奭奏之，规得罪，赐死。
