胡穆孟，福建人。
清史稿卷四百九十九 列传二百八十六：
胡穆孟，福建人，失其县。顺治间武举。与连江沈廷栋同岁，相善。耿精忠反，徵穆孟，避匿廷栋家。廷栋寓书於其友，诋精忠，穆孟窃见之，虑书发且得祸，易书为隐语，逻者得书，犹以诋精忠见收。穆孟以语其妻王，王谓当自承以脱廷栋。穆孟乃诣吏，吏使与廷栋各具书，辨其迹，释廷栋而杀穆孟。穆孟死，王诣市，缀穆孟首，具衣冠为敛，嘱子於其叔，且及廷栋，遂缢於尸侧，市人皆感泣。师克福建，恤穆孟，荫其子焉。
