宋史卷四百三十五 列传第一百九十四：
宁字和仲，以荫补官。秦桧当国，召试馆职，除敕令所删定官。秦熺知枢密院事，桧问宁曰："熺近除，外议云何？"宁曰："外议以为相公必不为蔡京之所为也。"迁太常丞、祠部郎官。
初，以宁父兄故召用，及寅与桧忤，乃出宁为夔路安抚司参议官。除知澧州，不赴。主管台州崇道观，卒。
安国之传《春秋》也，修纂检讨尽出宁手。宁又著《春秋通旨》，以羽翼其书云。
