明史卷一百九十一 列传第七十九：
胡侍，宁夏人。举进士。历官鸿胪少卿。张璁、桂萼既擢学士，侍劾二人越礼背经。因据所奏，反复论辨，凡千余言。帝怒，命逮治。言官论救，谪潞州同知。沈府宗室勋注以事憾之，奏侍试诸生题讥刺，且谤“大礼”。逮至京，讯斥为民。
