田瑜，河南寿安人。
宋史卷二百九十九 列传第五十八：
田瑜，字资忠，河南寿安人。举进士，历袁、郢、合三州军事推官，迁大理寺丞，知鹿邑、建阳县，徙知蒙、江二州，累迁尚书司封员外郎、提点广南西路刑狱。庆历中，区希范诱溪洞环州蛮叛，上以瑜习知南方事，就除荆湖北路转运使。瑜檄属郡募民击贼，又督转粟以守要害，故兵所至皆不乏食，贼势大挫。
徙两浙转运按察使。杭州龙山堤岁决，水冒民居，辄赋刍塞之。瑜与民约，每刍十束，更输石一尺。率五岁，得石百万，为石堤，堤固而岁不调民。加直史馆、益州路转运使，改江、淮制置发运使，擢天章阁待制、知广州，累迁谏议大夫、权三司户部副使。
侬智高犯邕，瑜条上用兵御贼十事。智高平，召对便殿，具言南方山川险要，所以备守之策，乃以为广南东路体量安抚使。还，纠察刑狱，同判吏部流内铨，除龙图阁直学士、知青州。城中有杀人投尸井中者，吏以其无主名，不以闻。瑜廉得之，大出金帛购贼，后数日，邻州民执贼以告。属岁凶多盗，瑜立赏罚、设方略捕格之，境中肃然。徙知澶州，背发疽卒。
瑜瑾厚少文，而于吏事颇尽心，然御下急，无廉称。
