田武，大名元城人。
旧五代史卷九十（晋书） 列传五：
田武，字德伟，大名元城人。父简，累赠右仆射。武少有拳勇，初事庄宗为小校，历迁胜节指挥使。明宗登极，转帐前都指挥使，领澶州刺史。天成二年，改左羽林都指挥使，遥领宜州，充襄州都巡检使。三年，自汴州马步军都指挥使授曹州刺史。长兴初，迁齐州防御史，又移洺州。清泰中，历成、陇二州，充西面行军副部署。天福初，授金州防御使，及金州建节钺，武丁母忧，乃起复为节度使。开运元年，移镇沧州，兼北面行营右厢都指挥使。二年，授宁江军节度使，充侍卫步军都指挥使。岁内改昭义军节度、泽潞等州管内观察处置等使、潞州大都督府长史、检校太傅，封雁门郡开国公。未赴任，以疾卒。武出身戎行，性鲠正，御军治民，咸尽其善。及卒，朝廷惜之，诏赠太尉，辍视朝一日。
