王饶，庆州华池人。
旧五代史卷一百二十五（周书） 列传五：
王饶，字受益，庆州华池人也。父柔，以饶贵，累赠太尉。饶沉毅有才干，始事晋高祖。天福初，授控鹤军使，稍迁奉国军校，累加检校尚书左仆射。六年，从杜重威平常山，以功加检校司空，迁本军都校，领郓州刺史。时安从进叛于襄阳，晋祖命高行周率兵讨之，以饶为行营步军都指挥使，贼平，授深州刺史。逾年，复入为奉国都校，加检校司徒，领钦州刺史。未几，改本军右厢都指挥使，领阆州团练使。晋末，契丹据中原，汉祖建义于晋阳，寻克复诸夏，惟常山郡为契丹所据，时饶在其郡，乃与李筠、白再荣之俦承间窃发，尽逐其党。汉祖嘉之，授鄜州观察留后，加光禄大夫，赐爵开国侯，复移授镇国军节度使，加检校太傅。国初，就加同平章事，赐推诚奉义翊戴功臣。显德初，以郊丘礼毕，加检校太尉，移镇贝州。世宗嗣位，加兼侍中，改彰德军节度使。满岁受代，入奉朝请。显德四年冬，以疾卒于东京之私第，年五十九。追封巢国公。饶性宽厚，体貌详雅，所莅藩镇，民皆便之。每接宾佐，必怡声缓气，恂恂如也，故士君子亦以此多之。
