王铁珊，安徽英山人。
清史稿卷四百六十八 列传二百五十五：
王铁珊，字伯唐，安徽英山人。光绪十五年进士，铨兵部主事。居久之，母年老，欲归省。会拳乱作，知都城必危，遂不去。悉举赀斧寄母，独留百金，复分其半助邑馆贫不能归者。其人谓：“盍不偕南？”曰：“时势至此，不能出力抗敌，已负朝廷；若更引身远避，何以为人？且在京为大清官，在籍践大清土，国苟不保，家将焉属？”其人知其隐蓄死志，强之行，不可。两宫既西狩，遂伏案作书寄弟，略云：“身非武职，恨不能执干戈卫社稷；官非台谏，又不获效忠言维国是。如都城不保，义不偷生。所恨居官以来，未能事母，长负此不孝之罪耳。”书毕，肃衣冠拜，默坐室中。闻内城陷，自缢死。遗书友人治后事，谓：“某非死节，不忍见国事败坏耳。”事闻，赠员外郎，又追赠道员。荫一子入监读书，以知县用。
