王籍，琅邪临沂人。
梁书卷五十 列传第四十四 文学下：
王籍，字文海，琅邪临沂人。祖远，宋光禄勋。父僧祐，齐骁骑将军。籍七岁能属文。及长，好学博涉，有才气，乐安任昉见而称之。尝于沈约坐赋得《咏烛》，甚为约赏。齐末，为冠军行参军，累迁外兵、记室。天监初，除安成王主簿、尚书三公郎、廷尉正。历余姚、钱塘令，并以放免。久之，除轻车湘东王谘议参军，随府会稽。郡境有云门、天柱山，籍尝游之，或累月不反。至若邪溪赋诗，其略云："蝉噪林逾静，鸟鸣山更幽。"当时以为文外独绝。还为大司马从事中郎，迁中散大夫，尤不得志，遂徒行市道，不择交游。湘东王为荆州，引为安西府谘议参军，带作塘令。不理县事，日饮酒，人有讼者，鞭而遣之。少时，卒。文集行于世。
子碧，亦有文才，先籍卒。
