宋史卷二百六十九 列传第二十八：
旭字仲明。严于治内，恕以接物，尤笃友义。以荫补太祝，尝知缑氏县。时官邻邑者多贪猥，民有"永宁三□缑氏一鎌"之谣。又知雍丘县。
真宗尹京时，素闻其能，及践阼，三迁至殿中丞。自旦居宰府，旭以嫌不任职。王矩尝荐旭材堪治剧，真宗召旦谓曰："前代弟兄同居要地者多矣，朝廷任才，岂以卿故屈之邪？"命授京府推官，旦固辞，改判南曹。由判国子监出知颍州，荒政修举。
大中祥符间，旦既薨，扬历中外，卓有政绩，由兵部郎中出知应天府。卒，年六十八。懿子睦，旭子质，皆能其官。
