王敏，单州金乡人。
旧五代史卷一百二十八（周书） 列传八：
王敏，字待问，单州金乡人。性纯直，少力学攻文，登进士第。后依杜重威，凡历数镇从事。汉初，重威叛于邺，时敏为留守判官，尝泣谏重威，恳请归顺，重威始虽不从，及其穷也，纳敏之言，以其城降。时魏之饥民十犹四五，咸保其余生者，敏之力也。入朝，拜侍御史。世宗镇澶渊，太祖以敏谨厚，遂命为澶州节度判官。及世宗尹正王畿，改开封少尹。世宗嗣位，权知府事，旋拜左谏议大夫、给事中，迁刑部侍郎。敏尝以子婿陈南金荐于曹州节度使李继勋，表为记室，其后继勋偾军于寿春，及归阙而无待罪之礼，世宗以继勋武臣，不之责也，因迁怒南金，谓其裨赞无状，乃黜之。敏由是连坐，遂免其官。岁余，复拜司农卿。显德四年秋，以疾卒。
