晋书卷六十五 列传第三十五：
悦字长豫，弱冠有高名，事亲色养，导甚爱之。导尝共悦奕棋，争道，导笑曰："相与有瓜葛，那得为尔邪！"导性俭节，帐下甘果烂败，令弃之，云："勿使大郎知。"悦少侍讲东宫，历吴王友、中书侍郎，先导卒，谥贞世子。先是，导梦人以百万钱买悦，潜为祈祷者备矣。寻掘地，得钱百万，意甚恶之，一皆藏闭。及悦疾笃，导忧念特至，不食积日。忽见一人形状甚伟，被甲持刀，导问："君是何人？"曰："仆是蒋侯也。公儿不佳，欲为请命，故来耳。公勿复忧。"因求食，遂啖数升。食毕，勃然谓导曰："中书患，非可救者。"言讫不见，悦亦殒绝。悦与导语，恒以慎密为端。导还台，及行，悦未尝不送至车后，又恒为母曹氏襞敛箱箧中物。悦亡后，导还台，自悦常所送处哭至台门，其母长封作箧，不忍复开。
悦无子，以弟恬子琨为嗣，袭导爵丹阳尹，卒，赠太常。子嘏嗣，尚鄱阳公主，历中领军、尚书。卒，子恢嗣，义熙末，为游击将军。
