宋史卷四百五十 列传第二百九：
王安节，节度使坚之子也。少从其父守合州有功，安节等兄弟五人皆受官。坚为贾似道所忌，出知和州，郁郁而死。
安节至咸淳末为东南第七副将。德祐初，似道溃师芜湖，列城皆降，不降者亦弃城遁。时安节驻兵江陵，即走临安，上疏乞募兵为捍御，授阁门祗候、浙西添差兵马副都监。收兵入平江，合张世杰兵战凤皇港，有功，转三官。
刘师勇复常州，攻走王良臣，师勇还平江，以安节与张詹守常。已而良臣导大兵攻常，常城素恶，安节等筑栅以守，相拒两月不下。大元丞相伯颜自将攻之，屡遣使招降，亦不下。丞相怒，麾兵破其南门，安节挥双刀率死士巷战，臂伤被执。有求其姓名者，安节呼曰："我王坚子安节也。"降之不得，乃杀之。
