沈汉，吴江人。
明史卷二百六 列传第九十四：
沈汉，字宗海，吴江人。正德十六年进士。授刑科给事中。中官马俊、王堂久废，忽自南京召至，汉论止之。改元诏书蠲四方逋税，汉以民间已纳者多饱吏橐，请已征未解者，作来年正课。又言近籍没奸党赀数千万，请悉发以补岁入不足之数。皆报可。嘉靖二年，以灾异指斥时政。尚书林俊去位，复抗章争之。户部郎中牟泰坐吏盗官帑，下诏狱贬官。汉言：“吏为奸利，在泰未任前。事败，泰发之。泰无罪。”因极言刑狱宜付法司，毋委镇抚。不纳。大狱起，法司皆下吏。汉言：“祖宗之法不可坏，权幸之渐不可长，大臣不可辱，妖贼不可赦。”遂并汉收系，除其名。家居二十年，卒。曾孙璟，万历中为吏部员外郎。请王恭妃封号，忤旨，降行人司正。天启初，赠少卿。
