晋书卷八十三 列传第五十三：
灌字道群。父瞢，尚书郎。灌少知名，才识亚于逌。州辟主簿，举秀才，为治中，转别驾，历司徒属、北中郎中长史，领晋陵太守。简文帝引为抚军从事中郎，后迁吏部郎。时谢奕为尚书，铨叙不允，灌每执正不从，奕托以他事免之，受黜无怨色。顷之，简文帝又以为抚军司马，甚相宾礼。迁御史中丞，转吴兴太守。灌性方正，视权贵蔑如也，为大司马桓温所恶。温欲中伤之，征拜侍中，以在郡时公事有失，追免之。后为秘书监，寻复解职。时温方执权，朝廷希旨，故灌积年不调。温末年，以为谘议参军。会温薨，迁尚书、中护军，复出为吴郡太守，加秩中二千石，未拜，卒。子绩。
