霆字时隐，政和五年进士，敕令所删定官。诋绍兴和议，谓不宜置二帝万里外不通问，即挂冠出都门，权臣大恚怒，亦废放以死，莆人称为"忠义林氏"。宝庆三年，即其所居立祠。宝祐中，又给田百亩，使备祭享以劝忠义云。
