林琦，闽人也。德祐二年，大兵既迫临安，琦于赭山结集忠义数千人，捍御海道。以功补宣教郎、督府主管机宜文字，充检院。文天祥开府南剑，琦佐其幕。琦外文采，内忠实，数涉患难，无怨怼辞。及潮州移屯，琦俱被执，至惠州遁，复执之北行，赴水，为吏所拔，至建康，以忧愤死。
