杨越，浙江山阴人。
清史稿卷四百九十九 列传二百八十六：
杨越，初名春华，字友声，浙江山阴人。所居曰安城，因以为号。为诸生，慷慨尚侠。康熙初，越友有与张煌言交通者，事发，辞连越，减死，流宁古塔。例佥妻，与其妻范偕行，留老母及二子家居。宁古塔地初辟，严寒，民朴鲁。越至，伐木构室，垒土石为炕，出馀物易菽粟。民与习，乃教之读书，明礼教，崇退让，躬养老抚孤。赎入官为奴者，萧山李兼汝、苏州书贾朱方初及黔沐氏之裔忠显、忠祯皆廪焉。又赎明大学士朱大典孙妇，河南李天然希声夫妇。凡贫不能举火及婚丧，倡出赀以周，民相助恐后。吝，则嗤之，曰：“何以见杨马法？”马法犹言长老，以敬越也。母终於家，年馀始闻丧，哀恸，杜门居三年。
