杨果，祁州蒲阴人。
元史卷一百六十四 列传第五十一：
杨果，字正卿，祁州蒲阴人。幼失怙恃，自宋迁亳，复徙居许昌，以章句授徒为业，流寓轗轲十余年。金正大甲申，登进士第。会参政李蹊行大司农于许，果以诗送之，蹊大称赏，归言于朝，用为偃师令。到官，以廉干称，改蒲城，改陕，皆剧县也。果有应变材，能治烦剧，诸县以果治效为最。
金亡，岁己丑，杨奂征河南课税，起果为经历。未几，史天泽经略河南，果为参议。时兵革之余，法度草创，果随宜赞画，民赖以安。世祖中统元年，设十道宣抚使，命果为北京宣抚使。明年，拜参知政事。及例罢，犹诏与左丞姚枢等日赴省议事。至元六年，出为怀孟路总管，大修学庙。以前尝为中书执政官，移文申部，特不署名。以老致政，卒于家，年七十五，谥文献。
果性聪敏，美风姿，工文章，尤长于乐府，外若沉默，内怀智用，善谐谑，闻者绝倒。微时，避乱河南，娶羁旅中女，后登科，历显仕，竟与偕老，不易其初心，人以是称之。有《西庵集》，行于世。
