明史卷二百九十七 列传第一百八十五：
杨敬者，归德人。父殁于阵，为木主招魂以葬。每读书至战阵之事，辄陨涕不止。母殁，柩在堂。邻家失火，烈焰甚迫，敬抚柩哀号，风止火灭。正统十三年旌表。
石鼐，浑源诸生。父殁，庐墓。墓初成，天大雨，山水骤涨。鼐仰天号哭，水将及墓，忽分两道去，墓获全。弘治五年旌表。
