杨收，字藏之，同州冯翊人。自言隋越公素之后。高祖悟虚，应贤良制科擢第，位终朔州司马。曾祖幼烈，位终宁州司马。祖藏器，邠州三水丞。父遗直，位终濠州录事参军。家世为儒，遗直客于苏州，讲学为事，因家于吴。遗直生四子：发、假、收、严。
