杨延亮，湖南长沙人。
清史稿卷四百八十九 列传二百七十六：
杨延亮，字菊泉，湖南长沙人。嘉庆十六年，举乡试第一，成进士，用知县，发山西。道光元年，补赵城县。十五年，推升云南南安州知州。时赵城有奸民曹顺，以治病为名，传习先天教，与其党谋为不轨。敛钱造械，约八月分往平阳府、霍州、洪洞县同时起事。三月，延亮尚未谢赵城任，侦得其状，即饬兵役缉之。贼知谋泄，即纠党潜入城，夤夜放狱囚，焚县治，延亮死之，母妻子女及幕友杨成鼎同时遇害。事闻，诏用强克捷例予恤，特谥昭节。
