杨复东，湖南浏阳人。
清史稿卷四百三十 列传二百十七：
杨复东，湖南浏阳人。咸丰十年，从胡中和援蜀。十一年，战富顺牛腹渡，解大邑围，擢守备。败蓝朝柱於绵州，擢都司。又破朝柱於崇庆，毁石羊场，焚贼巢，擢游击。同治元年，复丹棱，擢参将。克青神，平铁山贼垒，擒李永和。擢副将。五年，总督骆秉章疏陈复东历年防剿滇、黔诸贼功多，以总兵记名。七年，授四川川北镇总兵。光绪二年，调云南开化镇。六年，卒。
