清史稿卷五百六 列传二百九十三：
杜知耕，字端甫，号伯瞿，柘城举人。精研几何，以利玛窦、徐光启所译几何原本复加删削，作几何论约七卷，后附十条，则知耕所作也。言其法似为本书所无，其理实涵各题之内，非能于本书之外别生新义也。称后附者，以别于丁氏、利氏之增题也。又杂取诸家算学，参以西人之说，依古九章为目，作数学钥六卷。言数非图不明，图非指不明，图中用甲乙等字作志者，代指也，故其书于图解尤详。梅文鼎称其图註九章，颇中肯綮云。
