清史稿卷四百九十八 列传二百八十五：
李应麒，云南昆明人。遘乱，与其父相失，被略至迤东，乞食归。丧母，劝父再娶，后母至，遇应麒虐，应麒卖卜以养。失后母意，辄笞楚，跪而受杖。后乃被逐，事父母愈谨。父生日，卖卜得鸡米，持归为寿。佃人田，方耕，闻后母病，辍耕走三十里求医药。后母生三子，友爱无间。后母久乃悟，卒善视焉。
