李公麟，舒州人。
宋史卷四百四十四 列传第二百三：
李公麟，字伯时，舒州人。第进士，历南康、长垣尉，泗州录事参军，用陆佃荐，为中书门下后省册定官、御史检法。好古博学，长于诗，多识奇字，自夏、商以来钟、鼎、尊、彝，皆能考定世次，辨测款识，闻一妙品，虽捐千金不惜。绍圣末，朝廷得玉玺，下礼官诸儒议，言人人殊。公麟曰："秦玺用蓝田玉，今玉色正青，以龙蚓鸟鱼为文，著'帝王受命之符'，玉质坚甚，非昆吾刀、蟾肪不可治，琱法中绝，此真秦李斯所为不疑。"议由是定。
元符三年，病痹，遂致仕。既归老，肆意于龙眠山岩壑间。雅善画，自作《山庄图》，为世宝。传写人物尤精，识者以为顾恺之、张僧繇之亚。襟度超轶，名士交誉之，黄庭坚谓其风流不减古人，然因画为累，故世但以艺传云。
