朱善宝，浙江平湖人。
清史稿卷四百九十 列传二百七十七：
朱善宝，字子玉，浙江平湖人。由监生入赀为州判，剿海州、徐州匪，保同知，署江宁府督粮同知。咸丰十年，随总督何桂清驻常州，江南大营陷，常州大震，桂清以守御事悉任善宝。既，贼陷丹阳，桂清遁，钦差大臣和春亦走无锡，提督张玉良收溃卒营城外，亦战败。贼从奔牛镇来犯，城兵千馀，旦夕垂破。善宝以常州为苏、浙门户，常州不守，则苏、浙瓦解，卒不去。赋绝命诗以见志，与通判岳昌励众登陴，杀贼千计。贼麕至，攻益力，城陷，战青果巷，被十馀创，死之。恤世职。
